Penn Yan, NY
How much did you get from the rain 2 weekends ago? We had 6/10 to 8/10. It was a godsend for some of the corn that went into slightly lumpy ground. We’ve been rolling iffy spots since the 2nd day of corn planting. I’ve never had to roll in corn before and I’ve been doing this just over 20 years.

I notilled 15ac of soybeans in triticale forage stubble without 1235 case planter. Actually did remarkably well and the beans look like they will be up Wednesday.
