Pinto Bean - 5/28/2023 20:12 Taking the injection pump off is easy. I made a wrench with a bend in it to get to the back bolt. No timing in it at all. That said it seems strange that your filters were half empty. Makes me think it was sucking air. I’d probably pull the pump and have it checked. Then dig into the accessory drive. It’s not uncommon for the accessory drive to need bushings/seals every so often. Don’t over tighten the fan belts, helps the accessory drive last longer.


Normal for a 855 Cummins to be half full of fuel, when it gets fuller it is time to change filters.
