I just cannot win with this Versatile 895.
Running field cultivator and it lost power, limped to front of field only running 800 rpm and shut it off. Would not restart.
Screwed in the manual fuel screw/ no change
Pulled off fuel filters/only half full
Blew air back into tank/ heard air bubbles real strong
Pressurized tank/ fuel to filter base
Filled new filters and installed/ no start
At this point I noticed a wobble in the double belt pulley on the accessory drive that also drives the pump
Removed the fuel line from pump and cranked/ no fuel at all comes out

Talked to only diesel guy I know and he thought accessory drive bushing bad, maybe broke pump drive shaft

Thoughts and opinions or anything I missed?
It is in a field 800 yards from my house. Need to get to shop somehow.
I am an auto mechanic and know nothing about big diesels.

sleep.

Never done the job, but I know it is not uncommon to need to work on that at higher hours.

Scanned the Cummins parts book to give you some idea what is involved.

This seems to be close to the right drive. Some of the key parts are right. https://www.heavydutypros.com/cummins-855-accessory-drive-3005133.as...
