Subject: RE: Sold equipment on online auction

East of Broken Bow
I know a local BigIron rep. He says if you sell anything to always take pictures of it outside, because if the pics are inside a shed, the buyer might get the impression it stays in the shed until they get around to picking it up.

If you got no contact from buyer within 30 days, you call BigIron. They then contact the buyer for you and notify the buyer he has X days to get it, or the seller can start charging a storage fee. After a longer period of time, the item reverts back to the seller.
The buyer is supposed to call the seller within 2 weeks to make arrangements. Later pickup is OK as long as seller agrees.

This is off the top of my head memories from a conversation, don't take it as gospel.

I know the few things I have bought at online auction, I called the seller within a week, and picked it up within 10 days. My rep commented he thinks I'm in the minority.
