most of my neighbors are worried about seed wheat

Not sure if you're familiar with Sipe's Seed in SW KS??

Over a month ago Jim Sipes wrote that for the first time in their farm's existence they would harvest NO wheat this year. I'm not sure how long they've been around...........but at least 50 years. They are a top notch outfit that farms about 10 miles from our home place.

I'm sure they'll try and import some wheat into their facility to sell for seed. But it'll have to come from somewhere.

I've got one pretty decent circle of Langin wheat that can hopefully make it to harvest without hail. I'll definitely need seed from there. That is, if I should even be planting wheat. Not quite sure why I keep beating my head against the wall on that front.

So Yah, we're (hopefully) harvesting 160 acres out of the 2300 we planted. Heck of a successful ratio there.
