Subject: No doubt gonna be a race..

This “10bu” stuff won’t feed in the combine. Weeds coming on late is another factor.

Weve all witnessed a stand of wheat after a good fill period busting a yield we didn't perceive as possible.. "golly where did it come from?"

Flip side.. we've all probably been very disappointed.. if the rains had only held off.. so we could get it before the weeds took it.. "golly I thought it would be better than this.."

At this point it could go either way.. no doubt for probably a historic amount.. the decision for abandonment on this crop has been made.. but the resilience of the US farmer prevails.. will there be a rabbit left to pull out of this hat?

Or just snake eyes?

Our stressed wheat was once again turning Kentucky bluestem blue yesterday.. as we applied a fungicide to our irrigated wheat.. we'll need more moisture.. AND somehow we need to hold the weeds out.. from taking what's left..

An impossible mission?  Who knows??

70 bu irrigated potential down to.. 18?!? On the corners..??

Got to raise it somewhere
