Western Illinois | Have 3hoop buildings. All of them built in the early 90’s.use one for hay storage, another for equipment and the other one has 150hd of fat cattle in it with a outside lot. As far as air flow and sunlight they are great. The one with cattle is on its second tarp and in 5 years will need a third and has several arches that are rusted out. Seems like you can build the same size truss building for the same as a hoop anymore and with that in mind I don’t know if I would ever put up a hoop again unless it’s a special circumstance | |
