Subject: Bean plot layout

Ludington/Manistee MI area

Mentally preparing to do my soybean plot. Up until this year planting 13 rows on 19 inch spacing and the last few years harvest with a 25 foot head and got along ok with wider head.  This year will be planting with a 16/31 2600.   Leaning towards having 16 rows of one variety and 15 of the next and alternating that way.  Will have to be diligent with flags and record keeping.  Don’t want to do 15 of each with a skip.  Does Agtalk have any profound thoughts?

No not enough room in my plot for 40 foot of each variety.

DSM dropped off seed already and typically has my wife send her a copy of the plot once it’s planted.
