| First off, is their anybody that can fuse pipe around? Or could you borrow a fusion iron?
If there is, and if you are starting right from a valve, a ips x mpt brass transition would be the ticket.
Otherwise, a mpt x comp fitting would work. The Philmac ones work great, I use some cepex ones that look identical and work great.
