ABout the same $19.68 per 50 lb bag.  Expensive compared to salt from the coop but when you consider the cost of treating pinkeye and improved general health and wellbeing of the animals not having to deal with flys all day it is worth it to us.  Compared to the cost to support a cow all summer it is not much.  We had pinkeye for a couple seasons and for that reason we were looking for a solution that did not include insecticide in the food or mineral.  Comparing to ordinary salt it is expensive (which is the way I first looked at it).  But when you consider it a fly control measure - not so bad.

Where are you finding it for $20 for a 50lb bag? Everything I have seen is 10x that price.

Has anyone run it through freezer beef? It seems like it might preseason the meat
