West Central Illinois | if you're just looking for garlic to help keep flies off just buy bulk garlic powder off a restaurant supply store and mix it in with your mineral or salt, etc., needs to be mixed at 2% at least they say. You may be a little late though for a while since the flies are showing up now. I started putting mine in the mineral boxes 2nd week of april and the 2 farms i have cows on that i'm using garlic there is a big difference on the fly pressure vs. the group of cows across the road that i'm not using it on.
If i think of it tomorrow when i move cows i might show some pics of the difference on them. | |
