Wisconsin | Inflation can create wealth if you're borrowed to the hilt in productive assets. You wouldn't want to have a big mortgage in a deflationary environment. Or have paid cash for assets for that matter. Get them cheaper next month.
I disagree that currency's purpose is a store of value, it's purpose is to allow me to buy groceries without bringing a cow to the grocery store, or shipping firewood to amazon before they send my order out.
I don't get too far into the weeds. I just thought it was nice to see somebody tell it like it is. And I don't mean the host who probably still thinks prices will "come down" soon. | |
