Saginaw Bay Area - Michigan | My Whirlpool oven is newer. Have broke the spring on the door so had to disassemble it. Basically have to disassemble the door, which is put together in layers. Careful not to drop the glass when it's coming apart. Once all of the shell/layers are removed, you can get to the hinge assembly. Seems like the first set of screws were at the top of the door, inner side and rest were fairly obvious to find.
No idea if that applies to your oven of older vintage or not. |
