Cokato MN | We just got back to Mn from Asheville NC area. We stayed at a great AIRBNB with extended family. It is called Hawthorn Haven. The property may have been a group camp or similar in the past. Over last week, we rented several units as family came and went. Peaceful and felt like home. not perfect, but just what we were looking for. Some cabins were very inexpensive but comfortable and the setting was right in the mountains.
I would stay there again if in the area. We went to Asheville several times. They have a great little airport there in case someone wants to fly in, that's what our family did. You will probably want 4WD cause it is a little steep but doable.
