I used this exact same thing, I believe I had to unhook the wireless remote wires to use the original hand held in an emergency. It’s better than sliced bread I have a remote on me so if I need to unroll tile at a start I can lift the table which releases the brake pull some off and lower to set the brake all without being by the trailer. I also run the trailer from the plow tractor I can see if it’s unrolling properly better than the guy running the tractor pulling the trailer and hit the brake or make sure it’s raised to release the brake. I also have a remote in the tractor pulling the trailer, there is no downfall to this setup probably makes it safer to be around. Much easier loading tile on the trailer also, guy running the remote can slide on the top and lift it where it needs to be.
