I'd agree with this solution if you have windows operating systems.

You can still use all of the peripheral devices per machine and able to switch between machines without taking your hands off the keyboard.

Search for Remote Desktop Connection on your computers. Rather simple to use once setup, and several helpful links on the web for doing this.
