At Verizon if my sister would bring/send in a phone for a problem she would get a "new" phone for a replacement - then hers would get "refurbished" and sent out to the one next in the line - very seldom you ever got a new new phone - that is why I am not a Verizon customer.
This is what happens with ALL these companies that have "Lifetime" warranties, no matter the product.
Same thing with me with Bell, Rogers, Shaw if you return a malfunctioning PVR, Modem etc what you get back ia a refurbished one.
THE problem is that when they refurbish them they go in blind and just run a few tests, if they test OK off they go to the next person.
Only with this system the problem often is not addressed. |
