I suggest you find someone that Flys in your area or club,etc,etc. You can spend alot of money real quick on the wrong stuff.
Their quite a few r/c events over here very educational. We are probably in the meca of r/c stuff here next to California. FYI. I know of someone that flys a $30,000 jet airplane. And yes it is r/c.
