The gleaner design is over with.....it can't get bigger or big enough to compete......the customer base is shrinking with die hard gleaners guys going into retirement more and more every year. I say the silver seeder combine has less than 10 years of production left or less.
I know it's an American icon, but these millennials aren't gonna keep buying them....sorry. the next 10 years is gonna flip ag upside down again just like the last 10 years did.
People said that in 2005 when the Axial Gleaner's came out.
People said that in 2010 when the Super Series came out.
People said "This is what we were waiting for" when the S9 came out in 2016, and we are starting to see others take notice.
Why is everyone that doesn't drive them, and won't look at them worried about whether it lives or dies?
I don't know what the future holds, and neither do any of us. At some point EVERY machine will cost a Million Dollars, but I don't think a large portion of the average farmers are ready for it to be now.
