New to me 2007 Massey 8450 with the Dyna-VT that just arrived Monday from a sight unseen purchase from a dealer 8 hours away. It has some hours but really in not too bad of shape for what I needed and budget. They delivered, drove it off the truck and jumped in it and put it in the shed due to other things going on. The next day discovered that it will only shift from tortoise to hare but not back again. Dealer's service manager suggested cleaning real well behind the fuel tank where the linkage is. Did that and still no luck. I can shift it manually with the actuator on the right side behind the tire. Dealer seems willing to work with me but just wondering how extensive (and expensive) a repair might be. I am sure the fuel tank will basically have to come off. By the way, doing the shifting by the book using the clutch and tractor stopped. It is a mechanical issue as we have watched the actuator move one way but not the other and then codes T 41B1 TLPH and T 4162 TLPH come up.
