Jerseys bred specifically for high percent components, near dry-off. I had one cow last year who showed up with 3 consecutive tests of 9.9% at the end of her lactation, but those tests she only gave 9, 9, and 11 lbs/ day. Trucking and per cwt deductions are cheap on that much volume, and she's a 750 lb cow eating like a dry cow at that point.
Milk test topping out. Anybody else seen this?
