Southern MN | Did you find a way to replace the belts without taking off all of the guards and sickle? I have had the head apart many times but for 2 people to remove sickle and guards and reinstall them all correctly in less than 2-3 hours would be pretty amazing. Just took one side apart this afternoon to replace cutterbar and it took us well over an hour to reinstall the guards, and that is the second one I have done in 2 weeks. Replacing the belts in under an hour once everything else is off would be no problem.
Just take the guards off on the ends and where the support pieces go through? | |
