What happens to these gasses in a bunker silo? Are they just open enough the gasses don’t gather any where? Or are there dangers in the corner of a partially full bunker as well?

Paul

Silo gas is heavier than air so in a bunker it just goes to the ground and dissipates. It is present but the open design of a bunker makes it not as dangerous as a confined space. It is very noticeable on a fresh bunker of corn silage on a calm morning. The ground in front of the bunker will be yellow.
