Subject: RE: Dust control on gravel road

NE
I used to rent a barn and 10 acres of pasture to a lady from Ohio for her two horses. Nice barn, excellent pasture in a creek bottom. $100/ horse/ month. I even took care of them when she made multiple trips back to Ohio going to court with her siblings. ( an indicator of things to come). I noticed one of her horses coughing one time so I let her know so she could keep an eye on her or get a vet or something. She immediately said “it’s the dust coming off your road, what are YOU going to do about it?”. I said “ well, I guess I could oil the road down for you…..but I’m not gonna do it”. We had several issues after that, she actually accused me of stealing a colt from one of them. I had enough and told her my cousin had a horse barn on a paved road and she should go there. Thank god she did. Lasted 3 months there and he got sick of her and said she had to go. He still jokingly gives me heck about it and tells me never to send anyone like that his way again. Lol
