Toads are really hard on flys.  Have a big drain in the shop that apparently is a good toad nesting ground.  Always have few in the shop through the summer.  I didn't realize how good they were until one fall afternoon I was in the shop and the flys were just killing me after leaving the doors open with the setting sun coming in the shop.  Had at least 20 that were continually bombarding me.  Had to go in the house and eat dinner.  I came back in the shop and the toad was sitting exactly where I was standing and there were no flys.
