A pretty cheap thing to try is a roll of that 10" wide fly tape on a roll. Just peel a few pieces off and stick it where the flies seem to be the worst and see if that gets a bunch of them. Get an aerosol can of cattle fly spray and spray the shop when you're done for the day.
