That's actually what the 98 has on the upper shaft, but I can seem to find a 60 chain 37 tooth like that to put on the 89 so I was thinking of switching it to the 98 and 80 chain but it takes all sprocket change which could get pricey with the slip clutch set in the middle.
If the original sprocket teeth are still in good shape a machine shop could cut the hub off and weld on a tapered hub to use with the proper bushing. I have done this in the past. When the sprocket is not reuseable I have sometimes needed to change to a sprocket with a slightly different tooth count. In this case you would need to verify whether or not there is room for a sprocket that is slightly larger or go with one slightly smaller. I also look for hardened sprockets although I don't know if the ones linked are. Local parts house can usually get what I want in a day or two if they do not have it in stock. I have also machined a taper into a standard bore sprocket to use a tapered bushing. Lots of options to repair better than new.
