Indrtfmr - 8/5/2022 19:18 So all these crop guesses are people driving by ,not walking in fields? In tough years the outside rows can be 75-100 bushels better than inside.

How far were Iowa farmers getting out of their $69,000 pickups and walking into the fields in August 2021 when they were crying about all the drought stress but then there was magically a record state yield?   I can probably make an educated guess about that, because I go to enough farm shows, fairs, etc. to know that an awful lot of 21st century farmers could benefit from a lot more miles of walking, more small square bales of hay, more shoveling pig poop, more 50 pound bags of seed corn.  Probably going to hurt some feelings, sorry not sorry.
