We have been very dry in north central Iowa. .4 in July and nothing in august. I have been waiting for rain to seed cover crops on oat stubble but decided to go for it today to get started. Will the seeds just lay until rain? Sunn hemp supposed to grow in very dry conditions but I don’t want it to overtake rest of mix immediately. Should I lower rate of hemp in mix?
