Know a lot of guys that like the 635/640FD, but if you have a lot of rocks, you may want a Macdon FD70 or FD75. The problem I’ve run into on the Deere heads is the cutter bar points down a little to much and on rocky ground it’s pretty easy to break guards and sickle sections. I like Macdon better because they flex better over terraces, you can tilt the whole header to get your cutter bar out of the dirt. Highly suggest double drive if you go with Macdon.
