I’ve used drops in the past. Rather than find the right orfices, I’ve used my Chafer stream bars and set to the right number. Works ok to apply UAN, but makes a mess of the sprayer.
If you use an orfice, a rubber hose about 4’ long works ok to go down the row. If you get out of the middle, it will catch the leaves and whip up above the canopy.
