Fingers77 - 7/2/2022 13:52 Save your money and use Weather Pack. They're cheap and readily available. They have inexpensive tools now for crimping. If you want a mid grade tool, Waytek has an excellent one. I'm left handed so the real Weather Pack tool is frustrating to use for me. I'm super happy with the mid grade tool, iirc <$80. IMO those are crap connectors as bad as 4 pin flat trailer connectors. Very prone to rust and corrosion intrusion. If you use Weather Pack, you'll cut the wires right against the existing connectors and add the WP connections right there, no splices needed if you have a few extra inches of wire right now. While they probably aren't rated as waterproof, they are VERY water rrsistant.

Agreed, get rid of those and get a more common connector pairĀ

+3. Those connectors are garbage. Go weather pak or Deutsch.
