I thought the original price was over 5 million, but engineers messed up and needed more pumps on the system. The same engineers came and give us a ball park bid of 10 million about 7 years ago for one canal in Idaho. They couldn't even tell me how many lift pumps would be needed to go 9 miles.
Our water in Summit County is high run off water, some stored. Not enough acres to put any of our water in pipe. The sad fact is Ross and those guys water will all go to housing in a few years. I'm figuring less than 15 years will be no farming, all houses in his area.
