sleepy hollow , wi | this may be off subject a bit but ive got a case combine question ,when I was about 12 so about 1976 I learned to combine on either a 600 or 800 case combine with about a 10 or12 ft platform. open station . if I remember correctly it had a 3 speed transmission with a variable speed sheave handle next to steering wheel.i remember the sheave because once in awhile it would fly apart and it would have to be reassembled ,reason I'm bringing all this up is that it ran on propane ,ive never been able to find out anything about this model and my memory can't recall all the details ,guess I'm curious if this was a standard model, propane tank was under the walk platform behind operators seat. I remember it not being very powerful but it worked . never did corn with it | |
