Melancthon, Ontario | Well long story short I have a sickness for things that say CASE on the side. I feel it was the beginning of the end for CASE when they dropped the harvest lineup. Their combines were well liked when new and sales were taking off in late 60's.
I have no intention of using this machine other than to shine it up every few years and say it works. Always liked the looks of them for some reason; even as a kid in the 90's Id crawl all over every one I saw. Well this winter I decided it was time to maybe do something other than work all the time; and Im not one to follow the crowd, so I'm going to collect a few old combines. They all seem to sell for scrap price or less. You are 100% right about them not being advertised; which is why I've asked on some forums trying to scare up that one sitting in the neighbours fallen down shed, or that unit grandpa wanted to see go to a good home etc.
I'd tackle a trip to Manitoba for one if I new for sure it was there and complete. | |
