Also need to consider that there will be more N available below 12 inches.
We always sample at 0 to 10 and 10 to 20 inches and often find more N in the 10 to 20 inch sample than the top zone.
But we still assume some available N below 20 inches
How much N would you apply with these nitrate numbers?
