MaineFarmer - 6/26/2022 13:59 Dont go for tight,,For 3 seasons I ran a very tight double clevis type hitch to keep this sprayer extremely tight,,was a reason but,,,on a certain very stoney access road it bent pin and snapped the bolts,,my usual safety chain was not correct as it was hooked in drawbar loop,,this made it home with just a spring pin keeping it on.I eliminated this to single to drawbar,,seems as tight.Could have been a disaster,,1100 gallons going into a water body or worse a passing auto..I was dumb.



That is basically a picture of everything that you could do wrong.






With the exception of the spring pin... he evidently chose the right one of those.
