We’ve had 2 different hiniker 1224’s the first we never should have sold, was nice and tight, the one we have now…..we’ll that one is a different story. Btw new c shanks if you break one is $90 bucks a piece. Makes a 500 dollar cultivator get really expensive really fast.

The above posters are right, they hate trash plain and simple. Especially chickweed, just plumb will not flow through it. I like the job they do but it’s got to be pretty clean. I think you could run it through fall bean stubble in the spring if you can keep your weeds under control until your ready to go.

Overall, not bad machines but I’m going this afternoon to pick up the soil finisher we’re replacing the cultivator with.
