northeast ohio | Now that’s a great setup. How concerned are you about actually killing the Balansa clover? Looking at ours the mat ended up being 1.5” to over 2” thick. I was thinking if you could slice it with the openers and then row clean it just an inch or so to each side ahead of the closing wheels might be ideal. The long stems of Balansa won’t hairpin in the seed trench, the close would be better and there’s an adequate slot for corn emergence.
