Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | From what I have been told you can't go directly to the owners to purchase the land as long as the owners have the real estate agent under contract to sell the land.
You need to negotiate through the real estate agent. And if you buy it, the agent will receive a commission.
I think at this time you may be out of luck depending on what has been signed by the person who is trying to buy it. If a purchase agreement has been signed, which is usually necessary to apply for funding, that puts you out unless the other person cannot come up with the funds to buy the place. |
