NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | That price seems extremely high priced. I replaced our 50 gallon electric water heater myself in our AZ. home two years ago for less then 1/3 of that cost. Heaters are not that hard to install yourself.
If you never want to replace one again go with a Marathon heater. I installed one myself in our home here in IA in1997 and all I’ve ever had to do to it is replace one of it’s heating elements probably 5 years ago. I’d of installed one in our AZ home but the space where it was going wasn’t big enough space to put it. | |
