Northeast Iowa | Is it worth the trouble to make hay? How many tons would a guy get? Is it a big area?
Not enough info, but here, I have some low quality hay ground, large area, flat and no trees and I'm just happy to give away the acres to a guy that gets it mowed and they keep 100% of the hay. A few years he gave me a check for a few hundred dollars.
Grassed waterways, we give those away too if someone wants to bale them. Saves us a trip with the mower, they can keep 100% of the hay.
