if you load that hoe enough to take weeds out like that you will take out beans with it. too late. only time that works is before weeds emerge.


Gotta feel things out. Soil type and conditions matter. I'll sacrifice a few beans to get the weeds. This is another reason I plant beans >2" deep. They're anchored better that way.

I did exactly what I described to these yesterday at around 7 mph.
