West Chazy, New York | Today's activity was a visit to Henry Goodrich. He showed me his operation and the peanut buying station that he sells to. Lots of neat things to see, including the first mechanical peanut harvester that was built by a great uncle of his. Lunch at the Virginia Diner. Peanut pie was a first for me (I won't need to eat for a few days). I saw wheat just south of Culpepper that was a few weeks away from harvest but south of Richmond they have wheat already harvested. I saw corn, beans, wheat, peanuts and cotton.
