I have hoed corn where I anticipated a problem as soon as it was dry enough to drive on. I have never been sorry for running a rotary hoe if I had even the slightest inclination that there was go to be a problem. Maybe it was a waste of time sometimes but it can get ‘too late’ in a hurry.
