Have to agree with you. Any money spent now is better than what it will cost if Putin wins and is really out to restore the old Soviet Union or close all the gaps to give them more defend able borders. Send money and arms and let the Ukrainians fight and wear Russia out before they are knocking on the door of a NATO country. Don’t like it but it is what it is. The US is also war weary and may not come to the rescue of Europe with troops this time. Also agree China has to be looking on and rethinking any aggression they may have been planning on. One thing of concern is Russia/Soviet Union has never faired well early in a war in the modern era. But they keep throwing men and machines at it until they figure it out. Am afraid even though Russia basically a third world country they will be able to outlast Ukraine.
