I would assume in our area straw will continue to be cheap this year. Seed dealer told me in the fall he sold a lot more wheat than he ever did before because you could contract at such a good price last fall. For our bedding pack pens I would prefer dry shredded corn fodder over straw, but sometimes the weather makes that hard to get.
