Madison Co. Virginia | Looks like hairy wart to me. Caustic chemicals work pretty good as well if you can't get hold of tetracycline. The concept is that the wart is faster-growing and more tender than the surrounding tissue, and is disproportionately affected by a chemical burn. I use straight Formaldehyde. Two quick splash applications on a wart a day apart, and the wart is gone within a month. I've heard, but never confirmed, that toilet bowl cleaner works well too as a caustic agent. | |
