Here is the possible fix to a problem that started over a year ago. I asked about on this forum after failing to get results from the Microsoft KB fix. This link involves registry tweaks that make me nervous so I ask for your help...

Do I copy everything including the [HKEY_... line or do I start with the "AppData"=hex line? I am assuming that if I copy and paste into notepad, do a "save as" AppData.reg and select .txt as the file type I am good to go. The instructions say execute the file... ?? Do I simply double click this from any old directory or does this need to be placed in the folder stated above? I am in over my head without some explicit instructions.
