I hardly ever use cans, unless I am away from the shop. The problem with 30# jugs is if you buy it when prices are high (like I did a couple years ago) it takes a while to go through that high dollar stuff. And I have bought several cases of freon and some of the cans were empty. I don't know what the deal was on that.
